The "Who Will Rise Up" shirt is a call to action t-shirt. It displays a question the Psalmist asks in Psalm 94:16 in the midst of his heartache and righteous indignation at the state of the Nation of Israel, which was engulfed in violence, injustice, and wickedness. Like the Psalmist then, Abolitionists today look at the state of our own wicked culture and we cry out to God for justice and relief for the oppressed and we cry out to those who profess to know God to rise up with us against the wicked. It also displays the "big fish" that swallowed Jonah as he fled from God, refusing to do His will in calling Nineveh to repentance. Just as Jonah made excuses as to why he ought not obey God, today church-goers have developed all kinds of excuses for why they are not obligated or don't have time to love their pre-born neighbors as God has commanded them to do. Some of these common excuses are written on the fish displayed on the shirt. The back contains the URL to the main AHA website and another call to "Stand Up For Justice and Mercy" with the AHA symbol displayed boldly in the middle across the shoulders.
At the request of many we have chosen to print this powerful message on the tri-blend shirt.
